I may have to give you 4 things instead of 3...as I really struggled to let go of any one of these items as a priority for my son when I searched for the right in home daycare provider.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing I value with my daycare provider is SAFETY/SECURITY for my child. Having the confidence that when I leave my child in that persons' care, they take the same interest in my child as I do.
Next would be a LOVING, WARM, FRIENDLY & NURTURING environment that would give him the feeling of comfort and happiness.
The third item is NUTRITION, making sure the daycare provided well balanced, home cooked meals, fresh fruits and veggies, juice, etc.
Last, but not least EDUCATION. Whether it be a trip to the zoo, a work sheet, planting a seed in a cup and watching it grow, Mardi Gras masks, learning about Bee's, Sesame Street Live, play day at the park, Recycling, writing A, B, C's or numbers...it's all about LEARNING, EDUCATION and interaction with other children. These are the impressionable years; we can't afford NOT to make them count! When we have to leave our children for 8-10 hours per day to earn a living, it is of utmost importance they get the same care and attention we would give them at home.

SHE IS FULL OF SMILES, HUGS AND LAUGHS AND MAKES EVEN A FIRST TIME MOM WITH A NEWBORN FEEL COMFORTABLE AND CONTENT WITH LEAVING THEIR CHILD IN HER CARE! I MIGHT ADD THAT MY SON STARTED KINDERGARTEN THIS YEAR, AFTER BEING AT HOLLEY'S FOR THREE AND A HALF YEARS. HE NEVER ATTENDED PRESCHOOL, BUT NOT ONLY PASSED A READINESS TEST WITH EASE, BUT AL
